Bette (Jennifer Beales), the curator of an art museum, has to manipulate everyone around her and cheats on her long-time partner, Tina (Laurel Holloman), who soon has to learn that the single life isn't what she expected. While one woman is fighting to overcome her addiction to alcohol, another ignores the many broken hearts she has left behind, and her heterosexual roommate Mark (Eric Lively), an up-and-coming filmmaker, points his camera on the unsuspecting women, thereby learning what life in the lesiban world is like.
