Libertas considers communication one of the most important factors in ensuring that home care works for clients, their families, care workers and health professionals alike.
As part of our assurance to create the most effective lines of communication Libertas use 'People Planner'.
What is People Planner and How Does it Help Me?
People Planner is an online website, a portal to a number of different user features.
For our clients and their families it means they can see:
- Who is coming and when
- when a visit is complete
- invoices (where applicable)
Family members can be given access to the portal (with our client’s permission) and so even if family do not live very close, they can keep up to date with client's visits and check progress.
The portal also allows you to update your information, and you can add other people, for example family or District Nurse.
Associated professionals can also request access to the portal - for more than one client. Community Nurses, GPs, or service commissioners, can access right up-to-the-minute details of the service being provided for clients.
How to register & use the portal
Complete the form at the bottom of the page to register. On the form you can either request access to the portal or for your visit schedule to be emailed to you each week, or both.
We will check and confirm your application, and send you a link with your password (this may take up to 7 days).
Once you have received access details for the portal (if this was the choice made) you can login through the People Planner button which is on the bottom on every page of our website.
How To Log In and Use People Planner
Your Internet Browser
One VERY IMPORTANT THING you need to know if that for this service you have to use the INTERNET EXPLORER browser to connect. It is the only one that will ensure you can log in correctly. Most window based computers will have Internet Explorer as their primary browser to access the internet. If you are using an ipad or apple based product, you will not be able to access the login to the portal.
When you log in with the ID code, the next log in page may open in a new browser window so be aware you might have a new page open in front of you.
Now log in with the email and password sent to you.
This takes you to a page with several options. You need to click on the Service Location User button.
A new page opens which gives a number of new options.
The summary has the main details of the client.
The Details is the button to click to change or add more contact details or notes.
Timesheets gives full details of time allocated to client each day.
Visit Monitoring shows who visited each day and how long was spent.
Real Time gives details of who is on their way or visiting clients in real time.
When in each section you can use the back button to go back to the Options page.
