Why Choose Libertas Home Care?

Most people, given the choice, want to spend their retirement living independently in their own home near to family and friends.

It can be very expensive living in a residential or nursing home and often it is a decision that cannot be reversed having perhaps sold your own home or moved out of rented accommodation.

There is occasionally negative coverage of some Home Care companies in the news; carers having to travel in 'care time' and therefore clients not be given the full time that they have booked. This is where the management and staff at Libertas come into their own.  We will come when we say we’ll come, stay for the time booked, and do what we said we’ll do. We are professional, responsible and above all right for you.

What Next?

We do not make a charge for answering questions, carrying out an assessment or talking about our service at Libertas.  If there is anything you would like to know, or if you would like to just talk things through, get in touch.. If we can help, we will.

How do I arrange Home Care

STEP 1
The first step to receiving Care in the Home is to have an assessment.  Libertas staff will visit you and talk about what you would like your Personal Assistant to do.  It is at this stage that you can chat with us about what you want, and do not want help with.  It is a good idea to have a think, and maybe make a list of questions, before the assessment takes place.

STEP 2
We very much encourage at least one member of your family to be there during the assessment. It is important to Libertas that there is good communication between all parties. Sometimes it is a member of your family who might need to contact us about your care and if they are involved from the beginning they know how we work and the systems we have in place.

STEP 3
Once you have decided what you want and need,  Libertas will visit you at the agreed times and help with the things you have told us you wish us to do.  If there are any changes to these duties, don’t worry  part of our job is to respond to your wishes.
